Luckdog, :) You surely could have chosen a nicer name than that my friend.
CHINA ....... I have only ever read about China and it's people and I am filled with awe and admiration for it and them. To achieve the things that China has is unbelievable, and the nature and tolerance of its people is amazing.
It has been a dream of mine to visit there, whether to a major city or even a small village is of no consequence to my mind. It must be just wonderful.
The hustle and bustle of a large city market place, vs, the tranquillity of a small village community.
Either picture settles itself comfortably within my imagination.
The peoples of China are a living example to the rest of the world as to just what can be achieved with will and tenacity.
I wish you a very warm welcome and a long and happy stay in this Forum.

hello welcome with us and welcome as a friend i am mustapha from morocco i am new here also and i want to improve my english too china is growing very quickly u are lucky to be from there but i want to tell u something here in morocco china is not a good mark for us because we have tested a lot of products no quality the price is cheap but for me i always check the product if made in china i reject it because i have tried a lot of products i know that they want to sell and the moroccan who bring products from china ask for a low price but they must put intheir mind that when i try something and i find it bad next time i will avoid it it's better to ask for a good price and to make good products and other reason is that here in morocco we don't have a good control from our authorities to the products coming from out of Morocco but the chiness people as we know they are nice and gentel they must think in other people and they mustn't kill them to make money they must keep a good look for them and for their country a lot of pepople here now hate chines products |

Luckdog, I'm sure that with your friendly attitude you will make a lot of friends here. I want to help you and other newcomers, so I frequently post this passage below. It is meant to give an immediate improvement to your writing.
Your pronunciation can only be improved by yourselves, by both listening to, and making, voice recordings. Get yourself a headset and dive right in, the water is lovely.
Hello, my name is Kitosdad.
I live in Germany, but I am English.
Turn the volume down !
Are you listening to me ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OK, I hope you have recognised that each sentence begins with a Capital letter.
Each sentence ends with a full stop, or question mark, or exclamation mark.
I use " I " when talking about myself, not ( i ).
The names of people or countries always begin with a Capital letter.
The above are sentences, and sentences always follow those basic rules. You MUST follow this practice if you are to have any hope at all of ever learning English. _________________ Keep it simple ... Keep it interesting. |

Hi ,Rusia neighbour! Nice to meet you too. We are neighbour not only in geography but also in spirit.China is a Socialism state just as Rusia used to be.I personally think we have some common ground in national character. Chinese people is hospital ,tolerant and hard-working, we don't like war ,we like peace. But our economy and technology is not very high for various reason, we are working hard for a better life. It is so great we can communicate in English,Russian is so difficult for me.:) |

Luckdog, " Russian is so difficult for me."
And that speaks volumes for the Chinese people. They are so determined to communicate. They even learn Russian ! That is something I can only dream of doing.
I have a young Chinese student who is learning English from me at my home. She speaks Russian, German and obviously Chinese, but all fluently.
She has a Masters degree in Logistics, and has worked for two of the largest international companies in Germany ; Bosch and Mercedes.
Her English is super, but her pronunciation needs a lot of work. I love her company, because her dedication just beams out of her, and I'm always sorry when her weekly two hours tuition is over.
Maybe she will want to learn Geordie next, and that will take her years. :) :)
Luckdog, you have my admiration. Please stay with us for a long time. We need people like you to light the way forward.
