Do you continue to IGNORE the rules of basic English. I can understand first or second-time posters having to come up to speed with the rules, but we still have mature members apparently refusing to accept that they will NEVER be able to communicate in English if they don't learn the basics. And for those of you who are still using " u " and " i "......... words fail me.

Because they can, Bill.

I received a message in my inbox today saying:

thank your for No chatrooom lingo, please! reply

You can guess what it is supposed to say?

If every "u" or "r" would receive a reply like this, this sort of language would be wiped out fairly soon. But as long as it goes unpunished people will keep doing it.
