This should really not be looked upon with trepidation, rather an opportunity to show the examiners the true measure of your worth.
If you are given a choice of subjects, then choose one which you know a very great deal about, as this will make it even easier.
A simple subject, well and clearly written, will hold far more sway with the judges than an academic subject that you may struggle to get through, simply because you think it will make you appear more scholarly.
It isn't so much about what you write, rather more about the way you put it across. Write and speak with confidence.
Get organised. Group your comments into each relevant paragraph. Make your subject clear from the outset, and use your conclusion to drive home your viewpoints.
