Hi,
I would like first to thank all those people who are giving their time and effort for this site. all of you. thanks alot
second I want to talk a little about my problem in English, the pronounciation of some litters, like R, T, (I'm talking about the American accent since I'm more interested in it than the British, I have trouble understanding the British.). I'm an Arab girl, and you know how Arab pronounce the R, it's much like the spanish, I tryed to get ride of that sound when I speak English, but while speaking, I can't , it doesn't come out, but if I try to utter the R in a single word, yes I succeed but I want it to come out while speaking.
I didn't grow with english, that's why I have problems like pronounciation and fluency, I'm not fluent, I'm working hard to reach a good level in English, I want to speak it fast, to pronounce good, to be able to undestand natives well, how many years should spend to reach that ?lol
I read alot in english, I hear as well, but I don't speak it much since I have no one to practice english with, I practice only by writing here and there through internet.
I feel so frustrated when I hear ppl speak English so flunet and I'm still a turtle. I believe that English isn't a difficult language to learne, it's a peace of cake compared to other language.
What I would like to hear guyz not advices, no, but successful stories of ppl who haven't learn english since they were kids but they finally learn how to speak fluently.
thanks

EH, if you were to make a Voice Recording then we may be able to help you. Reading your text you appear to have a good grasp of English. Let's hear you speaking.
