Our main goal is fluency. Remember that you don't have to know many complex grammatical structures to achieve that goal! First of all try to speak as fluent as possible (even making some grammar mistakes). Than, after making your speaking fluent, you can focus on grammar aspects. .

Many people think that knowing a lot of words is a key to fluent speaking. It's true! However, there are many people who have wide idiolect and problem with fluency. They try to learn more and more words because they think vocabulary is their problem. They don't realize the problem is somewhere else. They always try to use exact translation of the word thay want to use, but it causes that they often get stuck.

If you have same problem remember that almost all words can be swapped by some other words. If you'll be speaking and suddenly stop, trying to get to your mind translation of some word, forget it! Try to say what you have on mind in other words - practising it is a real key to fluent English conversation!

Good luck.

Salam

Why are you trying to show off with all these 'big' words?

Many of the learners here are mere beginners and will not be able to understand what you are saying. If you want to give advice, make it simple, and proof-read what you are typing. If you know the difference between 'then' and 'than', show it by using them properly.

You can only become fluent when you have sufficient vocabulary to swap words with other words.

Actually, these aren't Salam's words. He seems to be posting the words of other writers. You'll notice a distinct difference in his command of the English language when he's trying to communicate his own thoughts, versus the perfect discourse he tends to cut and paste.

The way to get started is to quit talking and being doing.

Brave people do not accept defeat come what may !!

It is good to destroy evil thoughts from your mind .

I wish you all very very good luck .

Some people are difficult to change .You need to adopt a variety of approches to convince them that change is good .
Given the option , most of us resist change , but once people understand that there is no attractive , they accept.

Warmest wishes.

Salam

The way to get started is by being honest, with oneself and with others.

It sure is not with plagiarism and showing off.

There is such thing as copyright. You can not just copy and paste anything you feel like, there are laws for that.

Your progress not through improving what has been done , but reaching toward what has yet to be done. It's not the falling down that matters;its how many times you get back up.
Ok, my old friend Shyone ,but all things are possible if your motivation is strong enough, and without knowing the roots of motivation lie , how can teachers water those roots.

Keep up the good work.

Regards.

Hello everybody,

I have an asking. Could you please point the show-off words in the first post?

The issue of change is a controversial one. I believe you can't force someone to change unless they are willing so.

Cheers.

Let me point out something to you:

1) I might be old, but I'm certainly not your friend, and I do not wish to be called that.

2) To string proverbs and phrases you have heard or read somewhere together doesn't improve your English. You actually have to work for that.

I hope I'm wrong ,but that's what history has shown.

May your troubles be less and your blessings be more, And nothing but happiness come through your door.

A tree is known by its fruits.

I would like to thank you for your precious advice .
