Hi Emir,

Yes, there was something wrong with my microphone.
Now it's OK, I will be able to record my message as often as possible.
I really wish to improve my English accent

Hi ForOneSucks!

Many thanks for the encouragement and for giving the right pronunciation of ''southern'' !
I'm sure I've found the right place for my English accent improvement study in here.
Thanks for having set up this site.

Kind regards.

Welcome Jihan,

Let me guess what does your name mean, it stands for "world" in English. Could you tell us about your country and your life style please. Please feel free to ask what would like to know about any topic you wish. We are all here to help each other reach the same goal.

Best regards

Hello again Gab, as FOS rightly says, you are making it difficult for yourself. Try pronouncing it as SUTHern, not SOUTHern.

Hi Kitosdad,

Thanks, I am already rehearsing the right pronunciation of 'southern'
I think that could be a good idea, I mean learning and repeating the correct pronunciation of a word per day can be helpful too.

Hello Emir,

It is not that easy to introduce oneself, especially when you know that there are hundreds of people in this forum who can hear what you are saying and how bad is your accent. I wrote I was going to introduce myself, but in fact, my self introduction was half done. I was about to go on speaking while for one reason or so, I suddenly pressed on the stop button

Now, I would like to make an appeal to all learners in here, please be kind and feel free to record a short voice message introducing yourselves.

I made the first step, and I did not die :), instead, I think I am less shy now. There are still a thousand miles to go before we will be able to speak English correctly. It's really encouraging to know that there are a lot of people learning with you. And let's not forget that we have many native English speakers in here, they are ready to help us achieve our goal, yes those wonderful people who are very keen to help us. Many thanks to them and may we all, dear learners, have the courage to come out of our shells.

Cheers!

Gab, that was really, really, really good. Very well spoken, clear and excellently pronounced. You only need now to practice as often as possible to get the necessary fluency.

Your writing is also excellent, along with your sentence structure. Remarkable.

We are all very proud of you, and are happy that we have had some small influence in building your self-confidence into recording your voice messages here. Please keep it up, and we will soon have to ask ourselves if this is really " our Gab " talking here.

Kitosdad.

Hello Kitosdad,
Thank you for your good remark. It's me  .Oh really, I am myself surprised that I have done such a good voice recording.
I think I can be a good writer . I am quite good at writing, not at speaking!
I hope I will be able to increasingly improve my accent and language speed, of course I will, YES I CAN. :D

Again, many thanks for your support!!!
