Hi,
Just to check the spelling first INSURE - INSURANCE concerning financial protection as in 'car insurance'
ENSURE - make sure something will happen as in 'get a good education to ensure you'll get a job.' There is no noun from this word.

Hi,
Yes, roughly the same but best to use 'insure' just for the financial sense.

Hi,
Assurance in a general sense is similar to a promise you give someone to make them feel relaxed and comfortable about something.

Dear Alan
The following sentence confuse me the real difference in meaning between Insurance and Assurance....
The Indian Life Assurance Companies Act enacted as the first statute to regulate the life insurance business.
If we obtain a simple explanation, it will help understand them correctly.
Thanks..
