GENEROSITY. The dictionary says that it means, the readiness or liberality in giving of oneself or ones possessions.

Oneself and ones possessions can also mean ones time and ones emotions. These are given, and given so freely by Alan, Torsten and so many others in making this Forum the wonderful place that it has become.

Having surfed the net for such a long time, I was about ready to forget my hopes of finding anything as good as this Forum. Many made many claims which I found to be well short of reality. The really top ones required monthly payments and I couldn't afford to pay, so I was about to abandon hope when I found this Forum.

It appeared almost too good to be true, but true it was. A Forum with threads for all level of students, from absolute beginners to university-ready students. An absolutely free e-mail service handing out English lessons in such a simple format as to make it really easy to understand, even for the most uneducated English beginners.

Add to this the myriad of articles written by Alan in an entirely new method of teaching.
A method whereby learning is made so easy, in story-book and comical fashion. Learn and Laugh .... how new an innovation is that?.

As if that wasn't enough, they added a Voice Recording facility whereby you can record and post your thoughts and messages.

The icing on the cake is surely the fact that it doesn't cost one penny to avail yourself of these fantastic facilities.

It is said that, " It is better to give than to receive," and this is never more evident than here on English-Test.net The only way that you can possibly repay these kindnesses, is to spread the word to all of your friends who need help with their English studies, and to make a promise to yourself that you will make the time to play a more active role in the success of this Forum.

Ask questions. Answer questions. Make Voice Recordings. Do whatever you can think of to make this Forum hum. We have had 305 people on-line at one time here. Let's make a concerted effort tomorrow to break that number. I'll be here, and I'll be hoping to see all of you here too.

Kitosdad.
