Could you tell me, please, some rules of using punctuation marks?
I'm confused mostly about using comma.
Sometimes it is used before conjunctions but not always.
When should I put comma before conjunctions or adverbs, etc. and when not?

Thanks in advance
Tamta

Hello Tamta. I'm uncertain as to whether there are any rules regarding the use of commas. They are generally used to indicate a pause in the sentence, or for emphasis when making a speech of sorts.

If you are making a particularly long sentence, then a good guide is to place the commas in such a way that the sentence still makes sense when you mentally ignore the portion between the commas.

Hope that makes some sense to you.

I am not a teacher.

Kitosdad.
