Hi every one,
My warm greetings to all the members!

I tried to record my voice some time back but gave up in the end. Hope this time you can hear me.

First of all let me introduce my self. My name is Mallinathan. I have been a member of this forum since 2008. I am 44 years old, happily married and have a beautiful wife and two adorable children aged 16 and 10. I am from Kerala, a tiny state in south most part of India. I am an Engineer by profession and have great passion for reading and improving my knowledge. I am here in this forum to meet great people like you and improve my English and also communication skills.

Dear Kitosdad,

Good morning to you too.

Are you from Germany? I have been to Germany Thrice. I did lot of translation from German to English in the past with out even learning German. I just used Language translator from various sites. It would have saved my lot of time if I had some who knew both German and English.
I will surely write you in the Evening. Now I am getting ready fro my work. It is true that I was not confident while recording. I need your help to overcome my communication problems and also to improve my English.

Your anxiety, I believe, will evaporate once you begin facing your communication problems. In other words, writing, listening and speaking in English regularly will give you what you want.

Kitosdad, I think you have been mislead, whether by my postings or not, I don't know. I'd define myself as a casual, boring individual; at least not one whom you'd notice in the streets.

Good morning! How are you?

Thank you very for responding to my voice message. I am a Tool and Die engineer by profession. A tool Engineer is one who knows how to design and manufacture various plastic, sheet metal and die-cast products and also knows precise machining, measuring and fitment techniques. He also should be well versed with computer aided design and manufacturing as per the requirements of the tooling industry.
Now let me answer to your second question. I learned English as a second language during my School days. But my Spoken English has not been good. So I am trying to improve by speaking with native speakers like you. I do speak in English with people around me and also when ever need arise.
