Good morning to you all.
I am curious as to just why you do not sound the "T".
Do you also say soften without the " T"?

Well Bill,
I do believe that I learned it in school that way, but it's too long ago to remember.
As to 'soften', you tell me. :P _________________ No comment |

Hello Dear Teachers and Friends, I listened to the audio of Sue (session 15 Don't and does not) and found it very interesting. Now one confusion in vocabulary is that she uttered the word "often" as 'often' but as per my knowledge it is pronounced as "ofen" means "t" is silent. Therefore, it has become problem for me that how to pronounce it,with( t ) or without (t). Regards. NAZ |
