Topic: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? "Watching television is bad for children. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer"
Today, television become a popular entertainment. Many people think that this kind of entertainment is good for children while others do not agree with this idea. In my opinion, watching television is not good for children because of several reasons.
First, Television contain many bad program which make them easily become crimes. In facts, a lots of children are intensively influenced by violent films which often appear on TV. Some of them become familiar with violent and having tendency to use violence in schools. Moreover, advertising which sometimes present expensive stuffs such as mobile phones, mp3 or laptop, cause children waste a lot of moneys into them. In some cases, a little numbers of them even steal their parents money just because they need a thing that they desire. Therefore, TV is not a healthy entertaining medium for children.
Second, TV sometimes is a reason for bad performance of children in schools. Many children spend lots of times for TV because it has so many interesting program. It is sure that the more times children experience for watching, the less times they use for studying. According to Institution of Children Investigation on Health Journal, they state that each of normal children in American cities spend 3 hours per day for watching TV. This Institution also assume that children wasting 2 hour per day for TV usually get higher grades than grades of children wasting 4 hour per day for it. In addition, spending many time frond of TV also make children often possess a bad heath which importantly cause them be able get better scores.
In summary, TV can influence badly for mind and studying of children. We need bring them into other activities that have advantages for them such as playing football and swimming. They will not get them so much times .

Therefore, I feel that TV is not really a healthy entertainment medium for children.

Second, TV is sometimes the main reason for bad performance of children in schools. Many children spend lots of time watching TV because it has so many interesting programmes. It is for certain that the more time children spend watching TV the less time they use for studying. According to the Institution of Children Investigation on Health Journal, each child in American cities spends 3 hours per day watching TV.

This Institution also assumes that children only wasting 2 hours per day for TV usually get higher grades than the grades of those children wasting 4 hours per day watching it. In addition, spending so much time in front of the TV often poses a bad heath risk.

In summary, TV can have a very bad influence on the minds of growing children, and can seriously affect their studies. We ought to introduce them to other activities that have advantages for them, such as playing football and swimming.
