There is a construction of coordinate phrase when it relates to nouns, such as:
- you young boys - the writer Wilson - a child the same age He is a child the same age -> 1) He is a child 2) He is the same age
However, I can not find a description of a construction with noun and adjective, such as:
- five pages long - one-mile wide
I suspect here coordinate phrase also, because I can perform a similar transformation:
The letters is a five pages long -> 1) The letters is of five pages 2) The letters is long The river is one-mile wide -> 1) The river is of one-mile 2) The river is wide
Are my thoughts right, and where to read a description of the such construction? |
