I am a professional writer and teacher of writing in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. I actually came to this site because it came up as an option on a websearch. I was looking to see what kinds of books and articles are being written on the subject of improving writing skill, as I'm thinking of writing a self-help book. Coming upon this site, however, and reading some of your posts, I thought I might be able to be of help to some of you, and so I've joined.

In that regard, I'm going to respond to one or two posts, but, if you would directly like some help, please let me know.

Hello,

Is it possible to teach someone how to write? May be one could help with organization, coherence, etc. But I do not think it is possible to teach one how to write.

what do you think?
