What the pattern of the TOEFL® integrated writing task should be?

[Hahahaha]

I have experienced two types of intergrated writing organization:
+ Putting the informations of the reading passage and the listening in harmony. This mean, each point of the reading is associated with the correspoding one of the listening in a paragraph.
+ Separating the summarizing paragraph of the reading and the listening. Additionally, I have to show the connection among the reading passage and the listening one.
Which one of those patterns that you guys think is better? And why?
