Overpopulation occurs when the food production is growing in arithmetic progression while the population growth is in geometric progression. Overpopulation is associated with many problems among which are: unemployment, increase in level of poverty, pollution, high rate of communicable diseases, high level of crime rate and poor housing. All these contributed to population explosion
