Reading your website? Sat Jul 30, 2005 1:42 am  Reading your website?

Hello to all of you! Can you help me? I wonder if it is OK to say (for example when I'm on the phone and I'm talking to a person at a company): "Hello Mr. Ashton, I'm just reading your website..." or is it better to say "Hello Mr. Ashton I'm just viewing your website..."
Thank you so much for your explanations!

Hi Carol,

I would make it as simple as possible and say: Hello Mr A, I'm just looking at your website/Hello Mr A, I'm looking at your website at the moment...

.
Lest you worry overmuch, Carol, I find all of the following equally simple, straightforward and understandable:

"Hello Mr. Ashton, I'm just reading your website..."
"Hello Mr. Ashton, I'm just viewing your website..."
"Hello Mr. Ashton, I'm just looking at your website..."

.
