These words(who , whose ,.....) are called relative pronouns .we use them to join between two sentences.
John is a teacher.He teaches in the university.

John is a teacher who teaches in the university
who= with human being

whose for possessive

He is Tom .His father is a doctor
He is Tom whose father is a doctor

Whom = for object

This is the man.I met him

This is the man whom I met

Where= for a place

This is a Place where i used to play cricket

We use will for future

I will visit my grandfather tomorrow.

or go a quick decision

e.g someone is knocking on the door you say
I will open the door .

we use go when you want to leave to another area

I go to school everyday

I go to the church on sundays

we add the letters (es) with pronous he ,she ,it

i go but he goes

you go but she goes

this in presnt

the past of the verb go (went)

I went to the market yesterday (This means I did go to the market)

Whose and Whom #14 (permalink) Wed Jun 10, 2009 14:00 pm   Whose and Whom

Whose is a questioning word, usually associated with possessions or actions

"Whose is that car? "
"Whose books are these? "
" Who's (who has) left the window open? "

Whom is usually associated with persons.

" To whom it may concern.
" Might I ask, to whom did you speak yesterday? "

Not quite. The word "whose" is possessive:

- Whose car is that? = Who is the owner of that car?
- He is a man whose opinion I value. = He is a man. I value his opinion.

The word "who's" is a contraction of two words. The contracted word can be either is or has. The context of the sentence will tell you whether the contracted word is has or is:

- Who's on first base? (who is)
- I don't know who's making all that noise. (who is making)
- Who's been eating my porridge? (who has been eating)
