Hi Daemon,
Yes, you can use 'lift' in this sense. It doesn't necessarily have to mean a direct verbatim copy, but could mean loosely based on or inspired by also. _________________ Plan to be spontaneous tomorrow.

| "Lift" in this usage basically means to steal. You see it in words like "shoplifting", which means to steal from a store. |
