Hi Bill,

Thank you very much for your quick response. With the time spending on your post, I think you can produce another new chapter of the story. Thanks again for your time and effort. I agree with you that my native way of thinking is a problem especially we use the same verb for singular and plural subjects in my native language. Except pronouns, we don’t have plural nouns either. I am deeply impressed by your pointing out of my faults explicitly so I will be very careful in the future. Faults are faults, no matter they are unintentional or not, otherwise it will become a bad habit. That’s why I need somebody here to correct my writing hence I can make improvement on it as well as on my way of thinking. I am sure I can overcome this sooner or later. Hopefully there will be some improvement in this very text.

Frankly speaking, I haven’t read many English story books. The main reason is that usually there are lots of vocabularies and I have to stop from time to time to look them up in a dictionary and I don’t have the patience to finish them all. On the contrary, however, I found your story very interesting, short and brief, especially I could finish each chapter in minutes. I appreciate the work from Daemon and you, and also the state-of-the-art of the on-line translator too.

Very best regards,

Nick*

P.S.
Hi Daemon, I hope you don’t mind of using your text as the example of my questions. Your story is so interesting and when I encountered the expression I suddenly had the intention of clarifying something and I wanted to learn more from whomever in our forum. Sometimes I will use similar sentence structure. I know it’s natural and correct. Just like me, some people know how to write but do not necessarily know the detail of it. In this forum, however, I think this is the most suitable place to raise my questions as there are so many enthusiastic members here who are willing to share their knowledge and opinions.
