TOEFL® speaking- Independent tasks- Euthanasia?

I was told by a teacher that a student had taken the TOEFL recently, and for one of the independent speaking she was asked her opinion about euthanasia.
Does anyone know if this is true- has such a questions been asked in the independent speaking section?
I find it hard to believe, it doesnt fit the description of the independent tasks...I wouls appreciate anyone elses opionion/help!!!!

Within my preperation and my test I haven't seen questions like this.

They are more likely on a level like this:

What is your favorite place to visit on weekends? Describe it and explain why it is your
favorite place to go.

What is your happiest childhood memory? Describe it and give reasons to explain why it is your happiest memory.
