In modern life, children have more chances to learn foreign languages. It is an advantage because learning a foreign language until you are a child is always easier than learning when you are an adult.

Firstly, it is indicated that children have a marvelous ability to learn languages. First of all, because duties of children are eating, playing and studying, they do not think much about life and world, so they can remember new words quickly by watching videos, cartoons, or looking at the colorful books, pictures and real objects or joining some games. Furthermore, it is easy for children to imitate. To them, everything is new, they observer the other people and want to repeat accurately. Therefore, when learning language, they can hear and then repeat words and sentences effectively. This is the basic to teach them pronunciation with native-like accent.

Secondly, children have some characteristics that are suitable to learn foreign languages. They are curious and eager to learn interesting new things. Besides, because of children, they are not shy and no fear of mistakes. They can repeat words many times without embarrassment, whereas that is impossible with adult. This helps children remember language easily.

Thirdly, because learning a foreign language from starting school, children have more time to practice language. This helps them have good reflection in communication. They feel confident when speaking in a foreign language. They can find scholarship or find a job easily.

In conclusion, learning a foreign language as soon as children start school has many advantages, but we should arrange studying time effectively for children, so that they feel that learning a foreign language is very interesting and useful.
