It is true that the advent of modern technologies has brought young people now immeasurable convenience. Air conditioner produce cool air for us in a hot summer, modern transportation vehicles, such as car, bus, airplane, take us anywhere in the world with comfort and efficiency, and when we get to work, computers help us save, calculate, analyze. The old generations could hardly enjoy comfortable life as we do now. However, we cannot just ignore the huge stress which modern society has imposed on us. As far as I am concerned, I definitely disagree the opinion that young people can enjoy a better life than the old generation.

To begin with, increasingly social stress did not allow young people to enjoy the life. In the fast speed of society, there are myriads of things for us need to learn, such as driver license, Internet, TOEFL, writing.For example, my friend Garald, who works in a international company, always do the endless assignments, which lead to the fact that he could not have even little spare time to play basketball. Indeed, young people cannot enjoy the life since social stress force them to do continuous work.

What's more, it is impossible for the young generation to enjoy the life because the higher demand for themselves. According to a recent survey, approximately 60 percent people have made a further aim to achieve, whatever if it is practical that could bring out extremely stress. Take my teacher for an example,who has graduated from master degree, nevertheless, he is not satisfied with his specialized skill, chances are that he chooses to continue studying in his field. As we seen, how could the young generation enjoy the life better?

Last but not the least, competition between young people is becoming more and more intensely. Competition is a way of life in today's world. No doubt, it is hardly possible for them to stop to enjoy the life. If you stop moving, so numbers of competitor will keeping going and exceeding you in certain occasion. There is a phenomenon that many people are either unemployed and underemployed because of competition. Thus, young people could not enjoy the life in this situation.

From what we have discussed above, we could draw a conclusion that although the life is more convenient than before, young people have no chance to enjoy the comfortable life in order to pursueing their aim.
