Whenever I see someone write that it is difficult to learn and speak English, I shake my head in disbelief.
Of course it is ! It is a completely different language to which you are accustomed. Whoever told you it would be easy was lying to you. It is damned difficult, but by taking it step by step, you will finally shine through, and holding your head up high, can declare to all-comers, " I can speak good English."
It certainly isn't easy but, with our help, you can do it.
That's why you are here. That's why we are here, to make it easier for you. You only have to put the time in to progress steadily and with confidence. Whenever you feel you are falling behind, go back a step and review all that has gone before. The answer to your problem is there. If you can't find it, then ask us for help. That's what we are here for, but please, don't say that you can't do it. You CAN.

Our parents have made a big mistake that why we find it difficullt to read and write and speak in English. If they have started to read childrens books for us when we were small we have all been able to speak English. How did we learn our first langauge ? We heard people speaking it of course. If our parents have started to read childrens books for us in English when we were going to sleep we would be much better in English. I have had a classmate who had a daddy who came from America and a mother who came from Sweden. She learnt Swedish and English at the same time. / Maria |

Thank you, Kitos. You are right indeed! It has reminded to me the Barack Obama's slogan "Yes, we can" |

May be after some twenty years, Japanese will be the most important language to learn. Then your kids will tell the same thing:

Your parents simply did not know. Nobody can predict the future.

It depends what is good English. I can talk about everything in English but the first sentence I say in English may sound very funny for a native speaker I suppose. But I can't talk about odd subjects like the world crises or political talk for exemple.
What is more difficult is to listen to all the podcasts. I downloaded a few of them and almost everybody speak too fast. It was like greece to me /Maria |
