why a have to use agree?... is not supossed tha you accept an invitation?

Hi Vanessa.

Yes, you do 'accept an invitation' (accept + noun), but you cannot (X) 'accept to go', because accept does not take an infinitive object. 'Agreed' does take the infinitive, however.

It is not a matter of the meaning, but of the grammar-- how each word can work in a sentence.
