I am not sure sure how strange it would seem --

I have never been to sea or seashore though I live just 300 kilometers from it :)

It's strange, man! You should consider suiciding!

Seriously though, why would that be weird?

Hello Gray,

Actually I can't imagine that...Before 30 years the waves of sea were hitting the wall of my house, and at present I live nearly 50 meter from sea, that is why I can't imagine that there is a person who haven't ever seen the sea ..

If you have no car you can go walking on your feet .. the sea deserves that doesn't it?

I wish you will see it soon

Heck, I live about a 1,000 miles (1,600 km) from the nearest ocean, and I've managed to see the sea at least a half dozen times.

It never gets old, though. I don't think I'd appreciate it any less if I lived on a beach.

There's just something special about it.

300 kilometers is one hell of a long walk!

I meant, it is unusual. There is no reason why should I see the sea but there is no reason too, why I didn't.
And I wanted you all to share such things :)

Now, those living by the sea, tell me -- can you swim? ;)

Gray, I have spent my whole life within sight of the sea, one time living close enough to throw a pebble into it from my bedroom window. Here in Germany I don't get to see the sea at all, and I do miss it.

When I lived in England I was an avid beach-fisherman. I would spend all night alone on a deserted beach until daylight beckoned. To see the waves shimmering in the moonlight, and the phosphorous glow in the dark water was both eerie and beautiful.

I am a strong swimmer, but the thought of being alone at the mercy of something as enormously powerful as the sea has always served as a warning to me to stay well " out of it."

Kitos.

Adding one more thing to this list --

I have not seen (or experienced) the snowfall yet ;)
