I am from Germany too and to me it is no difference whether you go abroad for studying in the US, UK or AUS. It depends only on your personal preferences. I don't know whether you have been abroad before, but you have to consider that there is a lot of leisure time and holidays during your semester. You won't have to work as hard as you do or have to in Germany and you also won't spent the same much time in the university. You'll rather explore the country, meet new people, do a lot of partys and so on. That's how normal trips abroad work, this is true for my own and the semester of my friends in different countries. So, choose the country you like best. If you like nature, AUS might be better than UK. If you like guns, you'd probably better take the US (haha just kidding). There are too many aspects to consider, make a checklist whats most important to you. You can also check the policies for foreigner working in these countries. Work and travel is really famous in AUS, so it should not be a problem for you to get a visa that allows you to work there...
As you see it is completely up to you. And one thing is for sure, it will be the best time of your study and you won't come back as the person you left. |

Dawson, i was just kidding, I plan myself to go to the USA next year... I am not affraid of their laws or of those people having guns. It's just another prejudgement that everyone carries a gun. Keep away from gang areas and anything should work fine.
I am looking forward to it, at least if my toefl result is good, haha! |
