--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hi^^
I'm japanese.

let me ask you.

1. "He didn't come back until Sunday"

when did he come back on?

most of the people in japan think that he came back on Monday.

I'm confused very well.

2. not until 2006 did he know the truth.

when did he know the truth in?

2006 or 2007?

I hope you'd answer to my questions.

thank you in advance.

He came back on Sunday.

The truth was known in 2006.

" until " is referring to the periods before those times.
