'Push to' - Does this expression exist? #1 (permalink) Fri Jun 12, 2009 20:55 pm   'Push to' - Does this expression exist?

Hello,

Does this expression exist? If yes, how often is it used? Is it even an idiom?

I found it in a test. Here is the test question:

'Push the door ___ and we'll talk privately.

A. from

B. in

C. up

D. to'

Many thanks.

Good morning Ski. If you are ever in Yorkshire (England)you will hear the phrase,
" Put wood in hole lad/lass." Has exactly the same meaning.

Bill.
