Have you heard "Super me"? #1 (permalink) Sun Jun 14, 2009 9:44 am   Have you heard "Super me"?

Hi everyone,

I've seen someone who probably comes from U.S. and just visits Taiwan. One of their clothes have been printed "Super me". I guess it's a popular term. And I searched the google, I didn't find out the meaning anyway.

So I'm wondering if you guys have seen it or heard it before. And what's the meaning. Could you explain it for me and tell me when people use it?

Thanks a lot.

Maggie^^

Hello Maggie,

I'm French (I live in France too) and for me when I read this "Super me", I understand that I am Super like Superman.

But I never go to Formose, and perhaps this clause refers to the trouble between China and Taiwan, one possibility among one hundred.

I think it's just a joke that refers to the quality of the people who wear those clothes.

Have a nice day. Wink

Hi Maggie,

I agree with The French, I think it's just a joke/play on 'Superman'.

I wouldn't say it's a popular or common phrase. You'll find T-shirts with all kinds of strange, weird, and unusual sayings.

I think it's funny when people who don't speak English wear them not knowing what they mean.

For example, a few days ago I saw a old Hispanic man wearing a shirt that said 'Baby on board', with an arrow pointing down towards his stomach.
