| Being a language teacher is not a sign that one masters the language. It is the other way around. It is one of the first steps towards learning. |

Good morning Olenka. Your English appears to be advanced compared to the majority of that of most newcomers. I'm sure you need only a very slight improvement to become perfect.

Hi, Kitosdad. Thanks for that:) I know there's no limit - once you've started studying smth you want to make it better and better. You know, Russia has been quite isolated from Europe and I can't say we're exposed to foreign languages as much as the Europeans. I studied German as well but have forgotten a lot. So, may be you could recommend me some german forums as well:) best regards |

Hi Fabrice, it's true that French and English have a lot in common. It's my dream to speak French and I've been trying studying it for quite a long time and keep giving up. Can't say it's so easy for me. I've been to Paris and absolutely fell in love with it!:) Noticed that some people can't speak English at all, others speak very well. Here in Russia if you randomly ask someone (inEnglish) in the street to show you the way you will hardly get any responce. Good luck with your studies:) |

| There are different skills in English that one should learn, such as Reading Comprehension, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. Listening and Speaking is most important when you are having a conversation. Writing and reading are for those who are doing researches. Fabrice, what area would you like to improve? |
