Time and times Fri Aug 05, 2005 9:49 am  Time and times

Hi there. The noun time can be uncountable as well as countable. Please take a look at these examples:

Uncountable:
How much time do you spend watching TV every day?
I'm afraid I have to go because I don't have much time.

Countable:
How many times have you been abroad?
Every time I try to dial your telephone number your line is busy.

Well Abumashal, grammatically the word money is uncountable as you have pointed out. When you count your money, you actually don't count your money itself but you count the amount of monetary units in your currency. You don't say I have 1000 monies but you say I have 1000 dollars.
