To go shopping, is correct.

" I am going shopping." or, " I have been shopping." (When you return from having done so.)

Hi,

I would say: 'go shopping' or 'do the shopping'.

What about go for shopping as in I went for shopping yesterday and I have to go for shopping this evening?

Hi,

No need for the preposition 'for' in either sentence.
