I don't know if I just missed something, but is it Andrew that marries Sally or not?
The last phrase throws me off.

Hi Carot,

Hope you enjoyed my story. In fact poor Andrew doesn't marry Sally. He is what we call the best man who looks after the future husband. It is Andrew who hands the ring to Sally's future husband.
