This is a little complicated. In North America, we would say "ABC Company welcomes you..." because we think of the company as one thing, so it is third-person singular. In the UK, I think they would be likely to say, "ABC Company welcome you..." because they think of the company as a group of people, so third person plural.
Sentence (1) is definitely wrong, because the verb "welcome" must have a direct object.
"For" is understandable in those sentences, but I would consider it a little awkward, because it can also mean "on behalf of". "I welcome you here for my boss, who couldn't attend the meeting." = "I welcome you here on behalf of my boss, who couldn't attend the meeting."
My preference in those sentences would be "to" plus a possessive pronoun. "ABC Company welcomes you to its corporate management programmes." |
