Hi,
1. She has nobody she can turn to.
Is this sentence grammatically OK?
Will not "She can turn to nobody for help."
be a better substitute for the above sentence?
Kindly please explain.
Thanks,

Hi,

I prefer the first one -
Quote:
She has nobody she can turn to.

There is nothing wrong in putting the preposition at the end of the sentence.

If you'd rather avoid ending your sentences with preps, the sentence could be conveyed like this:

- She has nobody to whom she can turn.
