Hello

Could someone tell me the differences between particularly and especially ?I looked them up in some dictionaries and found no nuances while I think there are some slight differences between them.

Thanks in advance

I had already read the post but I am not still convinced how to use each of them in a sentence.

Hmmm.you got me thinking

Well,what about the sentences?

1-I especially liked the movie I saw last night, particularly the role of the hero.
2-I thought he ran a particularly promising race.
3-... his action constituted a particularly severe form of defeatism .

Thanks a lot.
