Hi,

The main point to remember is this: that is not used with a preposition but with which it is possible. If you like you can have a look at one of my stories appearing under ESL lessons on this site. You will find a summary of the uses of the Relative Pronoun and then (2) and (3) are the story I've written showing how they are used:
