Always telling the truth is the most important consideration in any relationship

Is telling the truth is the dominated factor in any relationship. Definitely it is. You can not establish a relationship basing on lies. And once somebody does not trust you, they would never want to be with you in any kind of relationship But should we always tell the truth? I think sometime telling a lie that do not have a bad effect will help you avoid some unexpected trouble
When involving in a relationship, any people would expect that they know everything about the one they are dealing with. In other hand, people must have faith in someone make a partnership with that one. In your friendship, you absolutely want to know who your friend is, does s/he is a good person to make friend with. To your lover, you want to know if s/he really love you, really care about you, and want to spend you his/her life with you. If they don’t, do you want to continue the relationship with them?
But I don’t think that we should always tell everybody about what is in our mind. Sometime the situation will become worse if you tell the truth than when you tell a lie. Imagine that when you girlfriend gets a new dress and she really exciting about it. She spent a whole day looking for it and you are the first one she show it. No matter what you think about it, I think you should give that dress a compliment. Because a praise from you would make she very happy. Otherwise, she would feel disappointed. Event worse, she will think that you don’t understand her.
Anybody has their own opinion on this. But to me, telling the truth guarantee that you will have a good relationship. But don’t forget that sometime a harmless lie can make everybody happy. All you have to do to keep a relationship going will is put it in your heart, and ask yourself what you can do to make your partner happy, then you will know when and how to tell the truth
