| My language is russian and I'm 22 years old. I've studied english since I was a child, but we have rather strange educational system at school so almost everybody who have learned english there can't speak this language. But my research work are related with foreign articles so I have no choice. And what's your reason to study english? |

Yes please надежда, I really want your help to learn Russian if possible, and I, in turn, am ready for any kind of help I can offer. I learned a bit of Russian (simple words, expressions, short sentences, alphabet, numbers, etc during my short stay in Kазань (53 days in 2001) and during a shorter stay in Санкт Петербург (17 дня in 2007).
I tried to develop my Russian through the internet, cd's, and books, etc. Unfortunately, I almost quit my study when I assumed a new job which is taking almost all my time (an interpreter/ translator in a government office).
I don't think I will be of any help to you as far as English is concerned, for I don't think I am better than you. Yet, I am at your service if you need to know anything about my, culture, language, environment, life-style, etc.
Discussing such issues in English may be of great value in terms of language improvement.
Take care |

My mother tongue is Arabic. I am fortunately less than 100 years old- younger than Dmitry Medvedev anyway (first time I hear of a family name derived from a bear )
My hobbies: Eating, sleeping, waking up, again eating, again sleeping and again waking up. [a hard job, isn't it?]
St. Petersburg (formerly Leningrad) is a wonderful city with lots of fantastic things like: Museums, statues [like Peter the Great Statue (The Bronze Horseman)], the Aurora, Peter the Great's Cottage, hermitage museum, Decembrists Square, the Old Cathedral, Volodarsky Bridge, and many other sites.
I also stayed in a beautiful countryside outside the centre for a week (with my wife’s family in a beautiful village called Morozovka –near King Peter’s Castle which is situated in the middle of a nice lake). I can show you some nice pics which I took there (just pay me 12 roubles ).
I can pm you for other details (for this i would ask for only 50 КЕПИК )

Hello Iqbal! You got some mistakes in your text. You should say " become" instead of " became", and you should say " I got used to " not " I get used to ".
Good Luck |
