Hello, dear!

You should have said: "... the exact meaning"

Anyways:

The Boomtown Rats = An Irish rock band

Boomtown = A town that has grown very rapidly as a result of sudden prosperity.

Rats = long-tailed rodents :-)

Hello Toņis and Iraqi,

To Iraqi,

You seem to have a good English level,as well as deep music culture. In such a time when people don't seem to interest other's messages reading your constructive response to what Toņis said just made me hopeful to have some responses in one day. :))))

Please don't misunderstand that I am implying the need of a friend's message probably from you. :)))

It never doesn't that at all.

Anyway,

I would be happy to receive as much messages including PM ones as possible from everybody.

Best regards.
Emir

Thanx Emir for the complimentary comment. You deserve not noly PM (private message); rather, you deserve PM (Prime Minister) if only you reconsider your sentence: "It never doesn't that at all.
":-)

Regards

Dear Iraqi,

Thanks for your quick reply. Let me admit that I always forget some words in some sentences like what have done in my previous message.

It never doesn't [mean] that at all.

It should have been like this off course.

By the way I am happy to come across such a person, like you, who has a good sense of humour, hereby I also would like to thank you for deeming me worthy to receive messages from PM.

Thanks again

Best regards,
Emir

Dear Toņis,

I am seeing that you haven't been satisfied with the explanations made by Iraq. Personally, I haven't had and idea about what it means until Iraq made that exposé however that explanation seems logical to me.

Being owner the question, you might be in the needs of further explanations and I believe some will come from those who are good at using these kinds of phrases.

I would have been happy to answer your question if I had known better my friend.

To Iraq,

I would be happy, if you correct my mistakes in this message.

Thanks.
Emir

Thank you, dear Emir, for your trust in your poor friend. I am ready for any help, but this time I'd rather be polite (at least one time in my life :D ) and keep aside to clear the way for our teachers: Alan, Jamie or other prominent ones (sorry, being a new member, I don't know all the expert members).

I think you agree with me that genuine jewels are far better than fake ones.

Yet, if those genuine jewels don’t show up to do the job, then you have to accept the fake (Mr. Me :) )

Best regards

My Dear Friend,

You know what I would like to express, while smiling your warm messages, they lead me to get back to my childhood since the same pleasure is disseminated from your message as I my friend's do.

As I have stated in one of my previous messages you have a good sense of humour. As for your describing yourself "fake genuine" let me admit that you underestimate yourself my friend.

You seem to be a real genuine.

I am here to read your messages.
regards
Emir

Hold on my friend, I did not describe myself as "fake genuine". I said: "fake" only. :D

Please don't throw words in my mouth. "Fake genuine" implies that I have a touch of "genuindom" [Iraqi version of "genuineness". :), which I dare not claim.
