Dear Alan,
These days, I知 following a new techniques in teaching grammar to my students either in my privet academy or in the university痴 classes. However, I知 facing many problems in doing so especially when I teach the students in the university classes because of time limit( which is 40 minutes per lesson) and the large number of students (which is over 60 students per class). Therefore, I need your advice sir concerning the right way to be followed in teaching grammar to second and third class University level. In fact I want to follow the modern way of teaching, therefore I知 in a serious need for your advice and suggestions.

Hadeer, you are facing what many teachers in many countries face: too many students, too little time. Methods will vary with the amount of English the students have already acquired and with the range of abilities in a single class. Your 2nd and 3rd class students may well be at a higher or lower level than those in other countries and other institutions.

Very generally speaking, modern methodologies minimize the rote teaching of grammar in favour of its being included as a part of communicative activities, which are essentially Listening, Speaking in task-based exercises. HERE is a representative set of suggestions being suggested to Japanese teachers of English. And HERE are some links to specific problems and areas. If you Google the phrase 'communicative English' or 'teach communicative English', you will find many more explanations and ideas to choose from.
