Other commonly used terms are 'that's good', 'great', or 'thanks'. There are a lot of different words or phrases you can use here.
To actually say 'when' when somebody says 'tell me when' is used, but it has a rather strong sarcastic note to it.
'Stop' sounds a bit harsh or rude, as it's very commanding. I'd probably only use it if for example they were about to fill the cup to the point of overflowing. _________________ Plan to be spontaneous tomorrow.
