Yes thats easy. As you a interested in computers visit an internet cafe and start talking to a few people there or go to a cafe and ask for something to eat and drink. Why not join an English course in Australia?

Talk about what is most interesting for you or your interlocutor. To know what is most interesting for him you anyway have to ask him questions. That's the topic! People usually like to talk about themselves or their families, pets and so on.

Hi Angle,
Welcome to the forum! Even I used to face this problem. But I leant it after many unsuccessful attempts.
First key for this keep trying. Just say what you want to say. Here in United States, people generally start talking about weather and their experience in other place. I started practicing this way. After greeting I say something about weather and about weather at hometown in my country. It you are staying away from home in foreign, you have many thing to share with people like culture, weather, cloths, music, language etc
Or like “Someone “suggested, talk about family, pet or hobby
Another Key is your judgments about the person with you want to talk. Budy , it is like trying to find out interests of a girl in which you are interested

Let's start practicing it

I start here our conversation and you will keep it continuos and intresting for all of us here.

Hi everyone I am khool. Presently I am in USA woring as a planner, but originally I am India a land of yoga, arts, cultures and mediciens for which world is crazy now.
