| hi people I am a chemical engineering grad am workinga t present(2005) batch. Any particlular suggestions as to where to apply coz i am being told univs require much more than GRE. |

hi
I just wanted to know, can a 1330 fetch you a call from Stanford? I mean I was told that even a 1550 is not enough if you are not an IITian.

| One of my friends got 1410 in gre and could still make it to stanford.. He has done BE from NITK- surathkal which is a good college but still not an IIT... See that u have a good statement of purpose and Recos... leave the rest to No chatrooom lingo, please! fate.. |

it must depend on the course also which you would be taking up?I want to go for Robotics and I am from UP technical University, in a very old (1962) institution, with a desent school and college academics and co-curricular profile.What say you?Should I take up any course in a good university and later change it to Robotics with my good performance?

Hello I am a passout of NIT Surat and am a gold medalist in chemical engg but do not have published papers to my credit although did participate in decent no . of extracurrics.
Could u just give a profile of the guy who got through Stanford with 1410. |

Hey guys... The most imp thing that u should focus on is ... find out whether u have any seniors from No chatrooom lingo, please! college who are studying in stanford or anyother college which u are interested to apply... They can help u a lot.. My friend has a decent profile but his senior recommendation was the main factor..

| hello ...this is abhinay,, completed my engg. this year and i have registered myself be appear in 26 dec 2006,for GRE...i want to know ..how to mug up such a large wordlist....can GRE bible be helpful for me...if no or yes ...then what more i need to do...exact 58 days reamaining(is this very short time for this)...in maths ..bit comfort level..but in verbal section especially RC ..lots of probs..what should i do...pls help me |
