TOEFL® essay: Parents are the best teachers.

Here is my first essay of agreeing/disagreeing type. I hope to get correction from some advisor here. Thank you very much.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Parents are the best teachers. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Some people say that parents are the best teacher. It seems to me that, as being the first ones who children met in their lives, parents are the most important persons for children to learn from.
The first moment of being alive, we cried in the arms of our mothers. We got hugs, warmth and loves from our parents. The first things that appeared to our sight, the first sounds that touched our ears and the first food that came into our mouths were also from our parents. Every sensation that is full of love and care we derived from them are essential for us to learn and to progress our growth and development.
As we grow up, in preschool period, are not they our parents that we mostly spent time with? We could stand up, walk and talk by instruction and demonstration of our mothers and fathers. As far as I can see, the first words that I could speak or read are taught by my mother. I also learned how to contact with other people in the outside world and how to deal with problems. Despite the fact that schools provide more content of knowledge for people, parents play an important role to support their children to enter the right school. Without parents, successful study in school may be impossible.
In conclusion, I believe that basic knowledge we got from our parents are necessary for us to develop further improvement and become a qualified person. If you are a mother of father, you are certainly the best teacher for your kids.

Some people say that parents are the best teacher(s). It seems to me that, as being the first ones who children me(e)t in their lives, parents are the most important persons for children to learn from.

The first moment(s) of being alive, we cried in the arms of our Mothers. We got hugs, warmth and love from our parents. The first things that appeared to our sight, the first sounds that touched our ears and the first food that came into our mouths were also from our parents. Every sensation of love and care (that)we derived from them (was) essential for us to learn and to progress (in) our growth and development.

As we gr(e)w up, in (our)preschool period, (were) (our parents )not (the ones we spent the most time with? We (learned to)stand up, walk and talk by instruction and demonstration of our Mothers and Fathers.

As far as I can see, the first words that I could speak or read (were) taught (to me) by my Mother. I also learned how to (make) contact with other people in the outside world, and how to deal with problems.

Despite the fact that schools provide more content of knowledge for people, parents play an important role (in helping) their children to enter the right school. Without parents, successful study in school may be impossible.

In conclusion, I believe that (the) basic knowledge (that) we got from our parents are necessary for us to develop (toward) further improvement, and become a qualified person. If you are a Mother (or) Father, you are certainly the best teacher(s) for your (children.)

The life that we live in this world is a boon given to us by our parents. From the moment we came to this earth we learn a lot from our parents.They are the first teachers for any child.So I strongly agree with the opinion that parents are the best teachers. And there are several reasons to support the opinion.

Firstly,Children learn faster from what they see than from a classroom teching. A good example to explain this point is the way children learn to talk. Children learn to talk from their parents.They speak more efficiently in their mother tongue than a second language.It clearly shows that parents are the chief mentors of the children.

Secondly, the character of the children is moulded by their parent's behaviour.I read from a journal that, if the parents are visiting so many parties then the children accompanying them will be social. This clearly shows that the parents are teaching their children how to behave in a society with or without their knowledge.

Thirdly, a good teacher is the one who provides guidance and direction. Parents guide their children in tough times to get rid of problems in their life. So in this point of view,parents are the best teachers since they guide and support to chose the right direction in every part of the life.

To sum up, I conclude that the parents are the efficient tutors to their children. By teaching the basic requirements of life,mouldi the characters of the children and providing guidance during tough times of their life,parents are the best teachers for a child.

Parents go through a lot of work to raise they children, and to be the best possible parents for them, that's why I agree with the statement, parents are the best teachers for their kids. They teach them everything they know from an early age, from that extra push when they are walking to good manners. They may not know everything and at times may need a little help, but parents never stop teaching their kids no matter how old they are.

Although it is the hardest job in the world, parents are the best teacher for their children, starting from when they are so small, helping them to walk, to talk, to read, to write, to succeed in life and so on. Their job never ends no matter how old their children gets. Always reminding them how to behave, how to act and always to be polite. Thanks to them we are who we are today, they have laid the foundation for us to be great parents one day. However, in some occasion they may need some help, since they are not perfect, and do not know everything. But they play the most important role in a person's life,

In conclusion, they are the best teacher a person can have, they teach us everything we know, and the most important thing is to love, to love man kind, to respect other and adore nature, to protect it and care for it, so that our children can enjoy it one day. We follow their steps and advices as well as their example. They have all those characteristics that teaches us to be kind. They are loving and caring, understanding and fun, they work hard to provide us with all the necessities we need to live a healthy life, and to be happy as kids. As well as those memories that we will take with us for the rest of our lives.

Throughout my life, I have been lucky enough to have a very good relationship with my parents. They have supported me, given me necessary criticism, and taught me a great deal about how to live my life. Parents can be very important teachers in our lives; however, they are not always the best teachers.

Parents may be too close to their children emotionally. Sometimes they can only see their children though the eyes of a protector. For example, they may limit a child’s freedom in the name of safety. A teacher might see a trip to a big city as a valuable new experience. However, it might seem too dangerous to a parent.

Another problem is that parents may expect their children’s interests to be similar to their own. They can’t seem to separate from their children in their mind. If they love science, they may try to force their child to love science too. But what if their child’s true love is art, or writing, or car repair?

Parents are usually eager to pass on their value to their children. But should children always believe what their parents do? Maybe different generations need different ways of thinking. When children are young, they believe that their parents are always rights. But when they get older, they realize there are other views. Sometimes parents, especially older ones, can’t keep up with rapid social or technology changes. A student who has friends of all different races and backgrounds at school may find that her parents don’t really understand or value the digital revolution. Sometimes kids have to find their own ways to what they believe in.

The most important thing to realize is that we all have many teachers in our lives. Our parents teach us, our teachers teach us, and our peers teach us. Books and newspapers and television also teach us. All of them are valuable

Yeh of course.This is because of parents's fault mainly.
It is true that no one parents want anything bad for their children. They want to protect their children from any harm.
But the main concern is the responsibilty of the parent.If they are not fair with their relationship then it produce negative signs.
