Conditional sentences in the Future Tense #1 (permalink) Tue Jul 07, 2009 9:30 am   Conditional sentences in the Future Tense

Good morning.
I've got some problems with conditional sentences.
If I want to build conditional sentence, which tells us about future activities, how should I do this?
'If you will decide to do this, I will help you'.
Is it correct? Rolling Eyes

Thank you. Smile

Hi Caterpillar,

The type of conditional you are talking about is called 'Possible Condition'. This is made by using the Present Simple with the 'if' sentence and a Future form for the other sentence. The correct form would therefore be:

If you decide to do this, I will help you.

Hope this helps.

Alan
