'Finish' and 'finish' are the same. I am not familiar with 'runout'. Do you mean the verb phrase, 'run out'? It means 'exhaust the supply of'.

Dear Mister Micawber,

I have drawn a conclusion from your explanation that we could use both "run out" and "exhaust the supply of sth" as in the following two sentences;

I have run out of fuel.

I have exhaust the supply of fuel.

Could you confirm their usage in my sentences if they are correct if not, please tell me their correct use in a sentence.

By the way, I wonder what is the difference between "usage" and "use"? Could you explain this with examples please.

Thanks in advance.
Emir
