Correct answer: (b) nephews

I check the dictionary and find out the meaning of 2 word as follows:
- Niece: brother's son
- Nephew: sister's daughter.
I don't understand the answer so far. Could you please explain me?

Hi,

'Nephew' is male 'Niece' is female.
