1. My dog is very clever. He is always wanting to go outside. (what does going outside have to do with being clever?)

2. My neighbour is very silly.
Does he (your neighbour) think you're a mail man? --> He is always thinking I'm a mail man.
or does he (your neighbour) think you have attributes of a mail man(whatever they may be)? --> He has always thought of me as a mail man

i'm just saying... i could be wrong. ask others for assistance as well.
